THE EUREKA
I went Boulder City today to meet a new friend of mine, Dan Markoff. He owns and Operates the 1875 Baldwin built 8/18 C. She was badly burned in a fire years ago. Dan Purchased her and spent 6 years restoring her to factory condition. I cannot say enough good things about Dan. He is very nice and very knowledgable. He gave me a cab ride and let me fire her for a little while. I told him that we plan on building her in 2 1/2" scale. He said he would help any way he could. Enjoy the video and the photos.

Old Cab Backhead
When the film studio owned the locomotive, it was converted to an oil burner, Dan converted her back to burn wood as it originally was.
